Ready to clean house? Exchange clutter for cash!

The RM is happy to announce that the Community Garage Sale will be back in 2024! Mark your calendars for May 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2024.

The RM would like to thank all vendors for participating in the 2023 Community Garage Sale! Over 150 different households welcomed visitors and guests into the community from across the area. Thanks to your participation, the event was successful in building community and keeping gently-used items out of the landfill.

The RM partners with Community Living to organize home pickups at the end of the garage sale weekend. Community Living stops at participating homes to pick up unsold items and donate them to those in need. Unfortunately, large items, such as furniture, are not accepted. To ensure a seamless pickup, please reference the list of acceptable items here.

How to get involved :

  • Tell us what you thought about the 2023 Garage Sale in our Feedback section
  • Post questions in our Q&A section
  • See you May 3, 4 & 5 for the 2024 Community Garage Sale

HI Do you have a list of actual street addresses. We live in Manitoba and make the trip every year just for this event Thank you

James Roszell asked 7 months ago

We're happy to have you all the way from Manitoba! While we do not provide a list of actual street addresses, the Garage Sale map roughly outlines where in the community garage sales are taking place. You can download a garage sale map online at the RM's website, on this project page in the 'Documents' widget, and for pickup at select businesses in the area after April 28th, 2023.

After registering for the Community Garage Sale, if something comes up and I'm unable to participate, how do I "unregister"?

    Lori asked 7 months ago

If you would like to unregister before April 26th, please contact Alexa at alexa.ohanley@edenwold-sk.ca

After April 26th, we will be printing maps with all registered addresses (and you will not be able to unregister). If you cannot participate but are on the map, we recommend closing your garage and turning off your lights. This will let shoppers know that your garage sale is not open.

Is there a cost to register for the community garage sale?

    Nicole asked 8 months ago

There is no cost - all you have to do is fill out the vendor registration to be included in the Community Garage Sale Map. This map will be available on this project page, on the RM website, and for pickup at select businesses in the area.
